Move & Groove Mondays with Jess Reino. If you love Friday Fitness with Jess, you will love Move & Groove Monday.. We warm up and then get moving to some fun medium tempo music from your favorite artists. We work on building strength using light weights as well as balance and coordination. All movements can be done seated in a chair or standing. Every class ends with a cool down, stretches and a smile. Class starts at 10 AM. $5 per class or purchase an exercise card (10 classes for $30) Lunch

December 9th– Classic Comedy Hour– How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966) Starts at 1:30pm after Trivia- Every Who down in Whoville liked Christmas a lot. And every family likes How the Grinch Stole Christmas! a lot! This joyous, heart-tickling holiday event based on Dr Seuss' beloved book and featuring the voice of Boris Karloff has delighted all ages since its 1966 debut. December 23rd– Home Alone (1990) When bratty 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O'Hara) makes him sleep in the attic. After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he awakens to an empty house and assumes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) plan to rob the McCallister residence, and that he alone must protect the family home. December 30th– The Polar Express (2004) A young boy who has grown skeptical of Santa Claus is shocked to see a train stop outside his window on Christmas Eve, destined for the North Pole. When he accepts an invitation from the conductor to climb on board, he embarks on a white-knuckle ride to Santa's headquarters, where he makes fast friends and learns an invaluable lesson about the true spirit of Christmas.

BETTER BODY BALANCE Better Body Balance for Seniors is a specialized fitness class designed to enhance the physical and mental well-being of older adults by focusing on improving their balance, stability, and overall body strength. This class is tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of seniors, helping them maintain an active and independent lifestyle. Each session starts with a gentle warm-up, including light stretching and breathing exercises to prepare the body and mind. Some balance drills and specific exercises will be offered to challenge and improve balance. Light weights, or bodyweight exercises will be used to build strength in the legs, core, and upper body. Stretching routines are incorporated to maintain or improve flexibility, aiding in mobility and preventing muscle stiffness. The class focuses on movements that mimic everyday activities, such as bending, reaching, and squatting, to enhance functional fitness. SNOW BALL 2024 Friday, December 6th 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM The Villa, 1830 Abbott Rd, Lackawanna NY Join us for our 3rd annual Winter Senior Semi-Formal– THE SNOW BALL on December 6th. This year we’re going to The Villa Banquet Center for an afternoon of dining, dancing, and holiday cheer! Doors open at 11 AM with an hors d’oeuvres and appetizer table and holiday music by DJ George. Guests will be seated by Noon for a family-style lunch with a menu of: Sliced Roast Sirloin, Chicken Breast Supreme, Chef Salad with Italian Dressing, Pasta in Red Sauce, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Rolls & Butter. After lunch, DJ George will heat up the dance floor with an afternoon of hot tunes along with a selection of fine pastries for dessert. PRIDE COMES TO TOSH COLLINS The South Buffalo Community Association is proud to partner with the Pride Center of Western New York to bring a great new monthly event to the Tosh Collins Center. The Silver Pride Project The Silver Pride Project is a Pride Center initiative that’s all about creating better conversations and improved social engagement with our older members of the LGBTQ+ community. By understanding people’s experiences we can facilitate greater social connectivity, improve social inclusion and evolve services to meet the needs of our LGBTQ+ elders. LGBTQ+ Seniors Coffee Hour Also known as the Silver Pride Coffee Hour, is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ seniors to come together and enjoy a morning of refreshments and conversation. Tosh Collins will begin hosting this monthly event on Friday June 10th from 10am-Noon and will meet the 2nd Friday of every month.

BETTER BODY BALANCE
Better Body Balance for Seniors is a specialized fitness class designed to enhance the physical and mental well-being of older adults by focusing on improving their balance, stability, and overall body strength. This class is tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of seniors, helping them maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
Each session starts with a gentle warm-up, including light stretching and breathing exercises to prepare the body and mind. Some balance drills and specific exercises will be offered to challenge and improve balance. Light weights, or bodyweight exercises will be used to build strength in the legs, core, and upper body. Stretching routines are incorporated to maintain or improve flexibility, aiding in mobility and preventing muscle stiffness.
The class focuses on movements that mimic everyday activities, such as bending, reaching, and squatting, to enhance functional fitness. Each session concludes with a cool-down segment to gradually lower heart rate and prevent muscle soreness.

Doors open at 11 AM with an hors d’oeuvres and appetizer table and holiday music by DJ George. Guests will be seated by Noon for a family-style lunch with a menu of: Sliced Roast Sirloin, Chicken Breast Supreme, Chef Salad with Italian Dressing, Pasta in Red Sauce, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Rolls & Butter.
After lunch, DJ George will heat up the dance floor with an afternoon of hot tunes along with a selection of fine pastries for dessert.

BETTER BODY BALANCE
Better Body Balance for Seniors is a specialized fitness class designed to enhance the physical and mental well-being of older adults by focusing on improving their balance, stability, and overall body strength. This class is tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of seniors, helping them maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
Each session starts with a gentle warm-up, including light stretching and breathing exercises to prepare the body and mind. Some balance drills and specific exercises will be offered to challenge and improve balance. Light weights, or bodyweight exercises will be used to build strength in the legs, core, and upper body. Stretching routines are incorporated to maintain or improve flexibility, aiding in mobility and preventing muscle stiffness.
The class focuses on movements that mimic everyday activities, such as bending, reaching, and squatting, to enhance functional fitness. Each session concludes with a cool-down segment to gradually lower heart rate and prevent muscle soreness.
