Senior Fitness

Tosh Collins Senior Center offers daily movement classes geared towards older adults. All classes are adaptable to your ability and desired exertion level. Classes are $3 for members and $5 for non-members. Members can purchase a fitness card that's 10 classes for $30. See Kim for more information.


MONDAY

MINDFUL MOVEMENT & GUIDED MEDITATION
You will be guided through some gentle, chair based movement focused on connecting the breath and the body. This will be followed by a short guided relaxation and finish the class by guiding you through a themed meditation. This practice can help ease anxiety and stress. Increase focus, positive feelings and improve overall mood. $3 for members, $5 for non-members.


TUESDAY

BETTER BODY BALANCE

CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR LINDA SCHMITT WILL RETURN APRIL 22!

"Better Body Balance" is a specially designed program aimed at seniors who are looking to improve their physical fitness, enhance their strength, and maintain better balance. It's ideal for beginners and is tailored to address the unique needs and concerns of older adults.


WEDNESDAY

MOVE & GROOVE DANCE CLASS

We warm up and then get moving to some fun medium tempo music from your favorite artists. We work on building strength using light weights as well as balance & coordination. All movements can be done seated in a chair or standing. Every class ends with a cool down, stretches and a smile. FREE


THURSDAY

CHAIR YOGA THURSDAYS

Gentle movement session that includes seated and standing poses using a chair. With Jess Reino on Thursday at 10am. $5 or 10/$30


FRIDAY

FRIDAY FITNESS

Up-tempo aerobic fitness class set to your favorite dance music hits! With Jess Reino Friday at 10am. $5 or 10/$30
