Young @ Arts Program

Our Young@Arts program aims to return older adults to the arts of Wester New York or introduce them for the first time. For the past two years, we've scheduled monthly trips to some of the most outstanding arts and cultural institutions to engage and immerse folks through socialization. Funding from the NYSCA Regrant program helped to subsidize the major cost of the trips to keep it affordable. As of 2024, NYSCA has withdrawn the funding from Western New York and we are activitely pursuing alternative funding to keep our program running. Stay tuned for more information!

UPDATE JUNE 1, 2024

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of M&T Bank, we can once again start planning and scheduling our trips to some of Western New York’s best arts & cultural events and locations. There will be a trip in August, so look in the July newsletter for all the details. And there may be an announcement at the SENIOR Prom June 7th. As they say in Star Trek, we are going to boldly go where we have never been before!
