1 Mindful Movement & Meditation
Looking for a quieter practice? This class is for you. you will be guided through some gentle, chair based movement focused on connecting the breath and the body. This will be followed by a short guided relaxation and Jessie will finish the class by guiding you through a themed meditation. This practice can help ease anxiety and stress. Increase focus, positive feelings and improve overall mood. Class starts at 10 am. $5 per class or purchase an exercise card (10 classes for $30). Lunch

December 1st– National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)- As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) wants to have a perfect family Christmas, so he pesters his wife, Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo), and children, as he tries to make sure everything is in line, including the tree and house decorations. However, things go awry quickly. His hick cousin, Eddie (Randy Quaid), and his family show up unplanned and start living in their camper on the Griswold property. Even worse, Clark's employers renege on the holiday bonus he needs. December 8th– December 15th– The Polar Express (2004)- A young boy who has grown skeptical of Santa Claus is shocked to see a train stop outside his window on Christmas Eve, destined for the North Pole. When he accepts an invitation from the conductor to climb on board, he embarks on a white-knuckle ride to Santa's headquarters, where he makes fast friends and learns an invaluable lesson about the true spirit of Christmas. Starring Tom Hanks December 22nd– Red One (2024)- When a villain kidnaps Santa Claus from the North Pole, an E.L.F. (Extremely Large and Formidable) operative joins forces with the world's most accomplished tracker to find him and save Christmas. Starring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans. December 29th– Die Hard (1988)- New York City policeman John McClane (Bruce Willis) is visiting his estranged wife (Bonnie Bedelia) and two daughters on Christmas Eve. He joins her at a holiday party in the headquarters of the Japanese-owned business she works for. But the festivities are interrupted by a group of terrorists who take over the exclusive high-rise, and everyone in it. Very soon McClane realizes that there's no one to save the hostages -- but him.

| 2 Better Body Balance
BETTER BODY BALANCE Better Body Balance for Seniors is a specialized fitness class designed to enhance the physical and mental well-being of older adults by focusing on improving their balance, stability, and overall body strength. This class is tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of seniors, helping them maintain an active and independent lifestyle. Each session starts with a gentle warm-up, including light stretching and breathing exercises to prepare the body and mind. Some balance drills and specific exercises will be offered to challenge and improve balance. Light weights, or bodyweight exercises will be used to build strength in the legs, core, and upper body. Stretching routines are incorporated to maintain or improve flexibility, aiding in mobility and preventing muscle stiffness. The class focuses on movements that mimic everyday activities, such as bending, reaching, and squatting, to enhance functional fitness. Each session concludes with a cool-down segment to gradually lower heart rate and prevent muscle soreness. . $5 or purchase an exercise card (10 classes for $30) Lunch

PRIDE COMES TO TOSH COLLINS The South Buffalo Community Association is proud to partner with the Pride Center of Western New York to bring a great new monthly event to the Tosh Collins Center. The Silver Pride Project The Silver Pride Project is a Pride Center initiative that’s all about creating better conversations and improved social engagement with our older members of the LGBTQ+ community. By understanding people’s experiences we can facilitate greater social connectivity, improve social inclusion and evolve services to meet the needs of our LGBTQ+ elders. LGBTQ+ Seniors Coffee Hour Also known as the Silver Pride Coffee Hour, is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ seniors to come together and enjoy a morning of refreshments and conversation. Tosh Collins will begin hosting this monthly event on Friday June 10th from 10am-Noon and will meet the 2nd Friday of every month.

| 20 Polar Express Trip
ALL ABOARD THE POLAR EXPRESS! Join us Saturday, December 20th for the trip of a lifetime! We will be going to the Medina Railroad Museum for a special train ride on the Polar Express. We have booked an entire train car just for us. The schedule for this trip will be as follows: 10:00 AM—Meet at Tops Market, 355 Orchard Park Rd, W. Seneca Hot chocolate and sugar cookies with icing will be served on the Polar Express. No other food will be provided, so eat a big breakfast or bring snacks if you think you’ll get hungry on the trip. Wayne will not be available to provide transportation to and from Tops. We recommend car pooling with your friends on the trip. The price of the trip will be $40 for members, $45 for non-members. This is a 50% discount off the full price of the train ticket plus the cost of the bus. Tickets go on sale Thursday, November 6th at 9 AM. Members may only purchase 2 tickets and non-members may only purchase 1 ticket.

LGBTQ+ Seniors Coffee Hour

BETTER BODY BALANCE
Better Body Balance for Seniors is a specialized fitness class designed to enhance the physical and mental well-being of older adults by focusing on improving their balance, stability, and overall body strength. This class is tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of seniors, helping them maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
Each session starts with a gentle warm-up, including light stretching and breathing exercises to prepare the body and mind. Some balance drills and specific exercises will be offered to challenge and improve balance. Light weights, or bodyweight exercises will be used to build strength in the legs, core, and upper body. Stretching routines are incorporated to maintain or improve flexibility, aiding in mobility and preventing muscle stiffness.
The class focuses on movements that mimic everyday activities, such as bending, reaching, and squatting, to enhance functional fitness. Each session concludes with a cool-down segment to gradually lower heart rate and prevent muscle soreness.

Join us Saturday, December 20th for the trip of a lifetime! We will be going to the Medina Railroad Museum for a special train ride on the Polar Express. We have booked an entire train car just for us.
The schedule for this trip will be as follows:
10:00 AM—Meet at Tops Market, 355 Orchard Park Rd, W. Seneca
10:30 AM– Charter Bus departs for Medina Railroad Museum
11:30 AM– Charter Bus arrives at Railroad Museum
12:40 PM– Polar Express departs the station
1:40 PM– Polar Express returns to the station
2:00 PM– Charter Bus departs Railroad Museum
3:00 PM– Charter Bus arrives back at Tops Market
Hot chocolate and sugar cookies with icing will be served on the Polar Express. No other food will be provided, so eat a big breakfast or bring snacks if you think you’ll get hungry on the trip.
Wayne will not be available to provide transportation to and from Tops. We recommend car pooling with your friends on the trip.
The price of the trip will be $40 for members, $45 for non-members. This is a 50% discount off the full price of the train ticket plus the cost of the bus.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, November 6th at 9 AM. Members may only purchase 2 tickets and non-members may only purchase 1 ticket.

BETTER BODY BALANCE
Better Body Balance for Seniors is a specialized fitness class designed to enhance the physical and mental well-being of older adults by focusing on improving their balance, stability, and overall body strength. This class is tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of seniors, helping them maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
Each session starts with a gentle warm-up, including light stretching and breathing exercises to prepare the body and mind. Some balance drills and specific exercises will be offered to challenge and improve balance. Light weights, or bodyweight exercises will be used to build strength in the legs, core, and upper body. Stretching routines are incorporated to maintain or improve flexibility, aiding in mobility and preventing muscle stiffness.
The class focuses on movements that mimic everyday activities, such as bending, reaching, and squatting, to enhance functional fitness. Each session concludes with a cool-down segment to gradually lower heart rate and prevent muscle soreness.

Looking for a quieter practice? This class is for you. you will be guided through some gentle, chair based movement focused on connecting the breath and the body. This will be followed by a short guided relaxation and Jessie will finish the class by guiding you through a themed meditation. This practice can help ease anxiety and stress. Increase focus, positive feelings and improve overall mood. Class starts at 10 am. $5 per class or purchase an exercise card (10 classes for $30).
