The state published a phone number Monday morning that will allow residents who are 65 and older to sign up to get a COVID-19 vaccination.
The state says people age 65 and over primarily will be vaccinated at pharmacies and other sites that are part of a "retail network."
At 4 p.m., the state will open a vaccination hotline to schedule appointments at 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829).
