April 6th– The Wizard of Oz (1939)- When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her dog, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and en route they meet a Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) that needs a brain, a Tin Man (Jack Haley) missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr) who wants courage. The wizard asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton) to earn his help.
April 13th– Classic Comedy Hour– The Judy Garland Show (1963)
Starts at 1:30pm after Trivia- was a critically acclaimed but short-lived CBS musical variety series featuring the legendary entertainer. Despite high-profile guests like Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, and Liza Minnelli, the show struggled with format changes and behind-the-scenes turmoil, resulting in its cancellation after one season of 26 episodes
April 20th– Wicked (Part 1) (2024)-
Misunderstood because of her green skin, a young woman named Elphaba forges an unlikely but profound friendship with Glinda, a student with an unflinching desire for popularity. Following an encounter with The Wizard of Oz, their relationship soon reaches a crossroad as their lives begin to take very different paths. Starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey & Jeff Goldblum.
April 27th– Wicked: For Good (Part 2) (2025)- Now demonized as the Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba lives in exile in the Ozian forest, while Glinda resides at the palace in Emerald City, reveling in the perks of fame and popularity. As an angry mob rises against the Wicked Witch, she'll need to reunite with Glinda to transform herself, and all of Oz, for good. Starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey & Jeff Goldblum.
